Thank you for your interest in the South Carolina New Caller Clinic to be held before the SC Convention in April.
This clinic is specifically for new callers, or callers who have been kind of calling for 2 years or less. The intent is to give you some tools to start your calling journey. This is NOT for experienced callers who are already actively calling for groups and full dances. Please attend the two day seminar being given by Tony – you’ll get a lot of good information there.
We will be spending time on introducing the Chicken Plucker module calling method, and getting you comfortable with moving dancers around the floor.
We will also spend time on singing calls, including how to find your sweet spot, adjusting figures.
Mic time preference will be for new callers as appropriate.
Please bring a microphone and your music. If you don’t have anything, we’ll have music available for you to call to.
